Product Overview
Constructed with a cast-iron frame, this 14 in. band saw is fashioned with the sturdiness and rigidity usually reserved for large shops. JET brings this pro-style element to your home shop, where a quiet 1 hp motor supplies ample cutting power with 3000 SPM maximum blade speed. This machine can accommodate large pieces of lumber up to 6 in. thick while vibrations are kept to a minimum courtesy of computer-balanced wheels that enable precision blade tracking. This model is designed with a closed stand, which allows for a larger table and easier cleanup.
- Built-in dust-collection hookup is compatible with 4 in. Dia hoses
- Accommodates blades between 1/8 in. and 3/4 in. wide (sold separately)
- Single knob tracking adjustment simplifies the blade tracking process
- Micro-adjustable lower blade guide reduces set up time and makes adjustments easier
- Graphite impregnated polymer blade guides with roller bearing thrust guides provide quicker set-up and a cooler running blade
- 6 spoke band wheels computer balanced to spin true without vibration
- 3/8 in., 6 TPI woodworking blade is included so you can start cutting right away
