Who is SimplyLease.com?

SimplyLease.com is an online lease-to-own shopping platform that offers an alternative to traditional financing. Our leasing service allows customers with or without bad credit to enjoy using a product while gradually paying for it over time and owning it after leasing for 12 months. Our service is designed to help customers access products like smartphones, computers, tools, appliances and furniture without committing to debt or other obligation. In summary, Simply Lease provides a convenient way to bring home what you need today.

Does Simply Lease do a credit check?

We do not run credit from any major credit bureau. Our lease approval is no credit needed*. Instead, the approval process is based on factors like your income, the health of your bank account, and other identity-related information. Simply having bad credit does not disqualify you. We may use alternative credit agencies (not major credit bureaus) as part of the approval process and helping to determine the lease limit*.

Do I need good credit to apply?

No.

Can I get brand name items like iPhones, iPads and MacBooks now and make payments later?

Yes! Simply Lease specifically provides an easy-to-use option to get what you need now and pay-as-you-go. Plus, you don’t need good credit. Our lease-to-own service gives you easy shopping power with no debt and no obligation. The item you receive will not show up as debt on your credit report and you are never locked in. You can own, return or upgrade anytime.

Is the iPhone from SimplyLease.com unlocked? Can I use it with any carrier?

Yes, the iPhone from SimplyLease.com is unlocked, meaning it can be used with any mobile carrier. However, once you insert and activate a carrier’s SIM card, the phone may become locked to that carrier for the duration of the service period, depending on the carrier’s policies.

Are SimplyLease.com’s products new or used?

All products on SimplyLease.com are brand new and come factory-sealed. Simply Lease does not sell used products.

What is the interest rate?

This is a month-to-month rental agreement with an option to own, not a financing plan, so there’s no interest rate. The rental payments specified in your lease agreement are fixed and all-inclusive. Should you choose to own the item instead of just renting, all rent payments will contribute towards the ownership price.

APPROVAL PROCESS

What is the Lease Approval Process?

During checkout, you will be prompted to complete a quick and easy no-credit-needed application. You will receive a decision within 30 seconds. If approved, review and eSign your agreement. Once your first two weeks’ rent payment is processed and clears, your order will be prepared for shipment or in-store pickup near you.

How Quick is the Approval Process?

The application decision is instant. However, a manual review for verification purposes may be required before approval. As part of any manual review, you should receive a decision within one business day via email.

What Information is Needed for the Application?

Everything we need can be found on our application form, which includes corresponding contact information, Social Security Number, Date of Birth, income and Banking Information. Sometimes, we may request additional information that includes verifying your identity, address or income.

How Long is My Approval Valid? 

Your lease approval is valid for 60 days. Within this time frame, log onto our site and sign into your account. Then eSign the order you want to receive. If you want different or additional items, place a new order without the need to complete the application again. After 60 days, you must submit a new application for approval.

Will I be Approved even if I Don’t Have Good Credit?

Simply Lease offers a No Credit Needed*, Lease-to-Own Plan so your credit score won’t impact your application. Good credit is not needed. Approval is primarily based on your income (minimum $2,000 a month for the last 6 months) and the health of your checking account (no insufficient funds or excessive overdrafts). Your bank account must be active and have been open for at least six months. All approvals are subject to verification.

ORDER PROCESSING

How Long is my Lease Term?

We offer pay-as-you-go flexibility. You can rent-to-own for 12 months (by making the default 26 bi-weekly lease payments for example) or choose to buy out early and save up to 50%. All rental payments apply to the ownership of the item(s). You can also rent month to month, return the item(s) and cancel your lease anytime — You are never locked in.

How Long Does It Take to Receive My Product?

Once your first two week’s worth of rent is paid and cleared, your order will be released for shipping or in-store pickup, depending on your chosen option during checkout. 

Is a Down Payment Required?

No down payments are required. However, your first two week’s rental payment must clear before your order is processed for shipment or pickup.

Do Rental Payments Apply to Ownership?

Yes. Ownership is easy with these two options:

  • Rent as you go and after renting for 12 months, the ownership of the item(s) will be automatically transferred to you with no more rent payments after that. 
  • Or you can buy out early anytime and save up to 50% of the remaining ownership lease payments. There are no early buyout penalties and the sooner you buy out, the more you will save. 
All rental payments apply to your item(s) ownership.
 
How Soon Can I Place a New Order After My First Order Ships?

You can place a new order anytime, as long as it falls within your approved lease limit*.

BILLING and PAYMENTS

Can I Buy Out Early? Is There a Penalty?

You can buy out early without any penalty. In fact, the sooner you buy out, the more you save. Options include a 100 Day Price (maximum savings) or an early buyout option (save 50% of remaining lease-to-own payments).

How Do I Make Payments?

Your first two week’s rental payment is charged to the debit/credit card you input on your application. We accept all major debit/credit cards. Pre-paid or reloadable cards are not accepted. All other rental payments thereafter will be deducted from your checking account. 

Can I Make Payments Online?

Yes. You can make early buyout payments or catch up on missed payments by logging into your account:

  1. Go to My Account → My Orders.
  2. Select your order and view payment information. For assistance, email Payments@SimplyLease.com or click the chat icon to chat with us.
When Do Payments Begin?

Your first two week’s rental payment is processed before your order ships or is prepared for pickup (depending on which option is chosen during checkout). Subsequent payments are auto-deducted from your checking account after you receive your item. You’ll receive a payment schedule via email within ten business days of receiving your order.

What Happens if I Don’t Pay?

Please keep in mind that while you are renting items from Simply Lease, they own the property until you complete the lease-to-own process or opt for an early buyout. You have the option to cancel the lease at any time, but upon return, the items must include all original parts and be in good, resalable condition. Failing to return the items upon termination of the agreement, or not making prompt arrangements with us, leaves you liable for continued rental payments and could lead to several repercussions. If you miss payments, the following may occur:

  • Repossession: Simply Lease may repossess the merchandise if payments are missed.
  • Credit Impact: The merchandise remains Simply Lease’s property until fully paid off or early buyout occurs. Non-payment may result in a lien on your credit report.
  • Loss of Purchase Rights: You forfeit the right to own the leased item.
  • Late Fees: Failing to pay within 7 days of the due date incurs a late fee plus the rental payment.
  • Reinstatement Option: You can reinstate a defaulted lease by clearing overdue amounts.
  • Legal and Collection Costs: You’ll bear costs incurred by Simply Lease for recovering their property or dues.

PRODUCTS and SHIPPING

What is eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan without a physical SIM card. It lets you switch carriers or plans via software, store multiple profiles, and use two lines (e.g., work and personal) on the same device.

How does eSIM Work?
  1. Order an eSIM plan from a carrier’s website or app.
  2. Receive a QR code or activation details via email.
  3. Scan the QR code or enter the details to activate your eSIM.
When Does My Order Ship and Where Does Simply Lease Ship To?

Orders are released for shipment or pickup once the first two week’s rent payment clears. Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days. Large items may take longer to ship. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot ship large items such as TVs, Fitness and Major Appliances to Alaska.

Do Unlocked Devices Work Overseas?

If activated in the U.S., unlocked devices like mobile phones should work overseas (check with your cell phone company and plan for details). However, activation may be restricted to the U.S.

What is White Glove Delivery?

White Glove Delivery includes unloading, placing items in your chosen room, unpacking, and disposing of packing materials. Delivery agents can transport items up or down a maximum of two flights of stairs.

How Are Large Products Delivered?

Major appliances, some large TVs and other large or bulky items may be delivered via White Glove Delivery. Otherwise products are shipped via UPS or FedEx. You’ll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.

What Are the Delivery Times for White Glove Delivery?

Delivery is scheduled between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 4-hour window. Upon delivery, please inspect the item(s) carefully. If you notice any damage to the product, please note on the Proof of Delivery receipt, refuse delivery, and contact us immediately.

Will I Be Contacted Before delivery?

For large items, a delivery representative will contact you to schedule a time. For smaller items, you’ll receive tracking information via email.

Where Can I Pick Up My Item?

In-store pickup is available at major retailers like Best Buy and Home Depot, depending on item availability. You’ll receive pickup instructions via email once your first two week’s payment clears. If the item is unavailable within 25 miles of your location, it will be shipped at no extra cost.

RETURNS and REFUNDS

Can I Cancel My Order?

Yes, you can cancel your order anytime. If canceled before shipment, you’ll receive a full refund for your rental payment. After delivery, if you are not satisfied with your item or want to end your lease early, simply email Returns@SimplyLease.com or visit Simply Lease to chat with us. When returning your item(s), they must include all original parts and be in good, resellable condition.

What if My Product is Damaged or Defective, or Not Received?

Please contact us immediately at Returns@SimplyLease.com or visit SimplyLease to chat with us. All damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. All shipping claims must also be reported within 24 hours. If you report ‘non-receipt’ of merchandise after the 24-hour window, we may not be able to file a shipping claim on your behalf.

What to Know When Returning an iPhone

In the event you need to return your iPhone to Simply Lease, the following criteria must be met otherwise, your return could be rejected.

  1. Contact your carrier to have the carrier lock removed.
  2. Must include all original parts and be in good, resellable condition.
  3. Remove your existing SIM card.
  4. Perform a factory reset.
  5. Verify and ensure all personal information and your iCloud account have been removed.
Will I Be Charged During My Return?

A return label is issued to you within 1-3 business days of a return request and expires after 10 days. Once your item(s) shows in transit on the provided return information, your rental payments will be paused until your return is complete. To finalize the return, your item(s) will be inspected and must include all original parts and be in good, resellable condition. If the item(s) do not show in return transit, rental payments will continue to be processed as scheduled.

Is My Personal Information Safe?

Simply Lease takes your privacy seriously (see our privacy policy). We never sell your information to anyone! Our customers’ personal and transactional information is hosted on secure servers using 256-bit Encryption. We use Cloudflare Security Services to help enhance our security online. We also take ID Theft & Fraud very seriously. Our advanced Fraud Detection technology will screen all orders before shipment to validate your identity and prevent identity theft.
