Its optical design is fully multi-coated to suppress lens flare, ghosting, and surface reflections for increased contrast and color neutrality when working in strong lighting conditions. Manual exposure control is possible via the direct aperture dial, and manual focus operation permits working with subjects as close as 33′ away.
