OVERVIEW

The Toyo Open Country C/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial grade light trucks.

The tire provides great all weather traction. The special all season tire compound and the aggressive staggered tread design boost the dry, wet and winter weather road grip. The durable compound ensures traction throughout the year and it maintains its optimal flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements find firm grip even in ice and snow. The tire is pinned for studs. #15 studs can be added for extra grip in winter weather. The model received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol for its capability of handling severe winter conditions. When driving on-road, the wide grooves and open shoulder design prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tires footprint to further increase the wet weather traction.

The aggressive tread design features staggered tread blocks, an open shoulder design, an optimized sidewall pattern and an additional siping detail that work together to boost the all terrain traction. In this manner, the model is capable of handling all soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces and it ensures a safer off-road performance. The tread blocks find grip on rugged terrain surfaces, while the sidewall pattern enables the tires forward motion when driving through deep mud or loose dirt.
