Description
Alpine’s Halo Series subwoofer enclosures make it easy to add more bass to your system. The pre-loaded R-Series 10″ dual voice coil subwoofer provides plenty of bass on its own, but when you want even more, the optional linking kit can connect two together for double the impact.
ProLink connection
ProLink is unique to Alpine and allows you to link two R2-SB12V enclosures together using an optional KTX-H12 Linking Kit (sold separately) to create a dual subwoofer-enclosure.
Halo display inspired
Drawing inspiration from the sleek, tapered lines and clean silver finish of the Alpine Halo Display, the R2-SB12V shares the same unique, curved edges outlined by a silver trim and a metallic front baffle for a matching system aesthetic.
Ported enclosure design
Features an optimized vent and rounded internal port edges that maximize the output performance of the subwoofer
Sturdy, yet rugged
Made from 3/4″ medium density fiberboard (MDF) with internal edge bracing, the R2-SB12V is sturdy with a rugged, yet stylish black carpet cover and brushed aluminum finish on the metallic front baffle.
Preloaded R2-Series R2-W10D4
Includes a preloaded R2-Series R2-W10D4 10″ subwoofer that’s turned to 35Hz for optimized performance with Alpine’s R2-Series sound system line.
Compatible with the R2-Series R2-A75M Mono Power Amplifier
Dual 4 ohm voice coils are wired in parallel for a 2 ohm load
Flexible application
The 2nd-Gen R-Series subwoofers contain a Dual Voice Coil (DVC) with easy configuration jumpers that allow for flexible applications
