What can the anchor be used for?
3.5 pound anchors are commonly used for kayaks, canoes, SUP paddle boards, jet skis, personal water crafts, floats, inflatables, rafts, dinghies and other small boats.
-
What materials is the anchor made from?
The silver anchor is made of galvanized iron. The colored anchors are made of carbon steel. The storage bag is made of waterproof 600D nylon, the carabiner clip and shackle are made of stainless steel and the rope is braided nylon
-
Will the anchor rust?
Our anchors are made of galvanized iron or carbon steel, which prevents rusting. However, to lessen the chances of corrosion, it’s good to rinse salt from the anchor after each use and allow the anchor to fully dry before long periods of storage.
-
Why does the anchor include a shackle?
Some people prefer to add chain to the anchor. The shackle is the only way to do so. The shackle can be added to either end of the anchor, giving you more flexibility in how to use it.
-
What’s the purpose of the zip ties?
Most anchors come with the rope tied to the top. If your anchor gets trapped, there’s no way to free it. By tying the rope to the bottom and using a zip tie to attach the rope to the top, you can detach a trapped anchor and remove it upside down
- 𝗡𝗲𝘄 & 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: Our upgraded colored kayak anchors feature enhanced components for better durability, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance in any water conditions.
- 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲: Perfect for kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, jet skis, and small boats, our blue sup anchor provides secure hold in sand, mud, rocks, and weeds, whether in lakes, rivers, or oceans.
- 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆-𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹: Built from carbon steel, our blue kayak anchor resists rust and corrosion, making it ideal for both saltwater and freshwater adventures.
- 𝟰𝟬𝗳𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲-𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗽𝗲: Longer than most standard ropes, our durable 40ft rope increases horizontal drag, ensuring a stronger and more stable hold in various conditions.
- 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Easily connect rope or chain to either end of the anchor for customized anchoring setups, improving versatility for different environments. Makes “rock rigging” simple.
