The FT-6852A aluminum ProMax Ultra Tripod from Field Optics Research is a lightweight support, weighing only 5.3 lb, that is capable of holding optics weighing up to 61.7 lb. Its three-part telescoping legs with twist locks can extend up to 68.6″ tall and shrink to just 4.9″ short. The tripod is also portable, measuring only 23.2″ tall when folded. Its center column is reversible and comes with an attached ballast hook for additional stability.
