Description
Yvette’s Ibanez YY10 is a reboot of a popular single-coil tone machine from antiquity. Its lightweight Talman alder body provides a familiar response and comfortable carry weight. It is sculpted for greater ergonomics and is bedecked in a beautiful metallic green sparkle finish that makes an impression when strapped on onstage or hanging from your studio walls. You even get a custom sticker pack designed by Yvette for adding DIY flair to your stage axe.
Yvette’s choice of pickups, the Duncan Five-Two Strat set, are sweet and articulate when played soft, and break up musically when you dig in. A mix of Alnico 2 and Alnico V rod magnets soften the treble attack, avoiding excessive high-end bite while keeping bass notes punchy and tight. The middle Five-Two single-coil is reverse wound to offer you hum cancellation and that great out-of-phase cluck.
