Montana Woodworks Glacier Country Twin Over Full Wood Bunk-Bed

This wonderful twin over full bunk bed provides for a bit more room in the bottom bunk. The full bunk bed on the bottom being wider, extends past the width of the twin upper bunk. Both the upper and lower bunks come with a “bunky board” mattress support. Skilled craftsmen patiently finish the bed in the “Glacier Country” collection style for a truly unique and one-of-a-kind- look reminiscent of the Grand Lodges of the Rockies, circa 1900. We remove the outer bark while leaving the inner, cambium layer intact for contrast and texture. The finish is completed by an eight step, professional stain and lacquer process. Mortise and Tenon joinery throughout. Careful assembly by hand ensures the bed will last a lifetime. For safety reasons, the upper and lower bunks cannot be separated. Headroom between lower and upper bunks is approximately 44 in. Headboard and footboard feature a built in ladder. Maximum mattress thickness for the top bunk is 8 in.
