Description
Pentax Sport Optics Binocular Roundup
Snypex improved on the design of their top-tier line to produce the 10×50 Knight D-ED Binoculars. They upgraded their eyepiece lens configuration to 5-groups, 6-elements, and the objective to 4-groups/5-elements to improve the optical quality and overall image brightness. Complementing this improvement is the use of large oversized objectives made of fully multi-coated extra low-dispersion glass, and dielectric-coated phase-correcting BAK4 prisms. These technologies work together to produce bright and clear images with accurate color rendition across the entire field of view without distortion. This iteration is made with a powerful 10x magnification and 50mm objectives to give them broad usage in all lighting conditions from pre-dawn to dusk, and a short 3.9′ close focus distance that allows users to make detailed observations of either distant objects or close subjects, depending on their interests.
The Knight’s open-bridge design helps to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, and provides a large surface area to hold, even with the compact housing. Rubber armoring gives protection from drops and impacts while helping to provide a non-slip grip. Designed for durability, the lightweight magnes um/aluminum alloy housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance and makes them submersible. Twist-up eyecups provide a custom-fit eye relief for use with or without eye-wear.
