This Warm Audio four-channel microphone preamp features unique custom transformers to provide an extended low-frequency response and employs a vintage winding technique for increased smoothness.
Classic American console preamp design
The WA-412 preamplifier provides four channels of classic American console preamps in a sleek 1RU design.
Fully discrete socketed six-pin op-amp
Each channel uses a six-pin op-amp that can be swapped with other op-amps. Discrete op-amp circuitry is known for its high headroom and low distortion characteristics and has much to do with the coveted sound of these classic console preamps.
Altran input and output transformers
Use vintage winding technique that produces a very distinct smooth big character.
Eight inputs
The unit offers four 1/4″ TRS and four XRL inputs/outputs.
Output trim on every channel
Allows precise control and creative gain staging.
Tone switch (transformer input impedance)
