Description
Create rich, warm tone with this silver Warm Audio tube compressor. The large-core Cinemag input and output transformers balance voltage to accommodate various tasks, including mixing and recording, while the pre-emphasis lets you control tones. This Warm Audio tube compressor utilizes ‘2A style circuits for smooth handling of vocals and instruments.
Classic ‘2A optical compressor
Transformer balanced, high-voltage, opto-tube compressor utilizes premium-grade input and output CineMag USA transformers.
Kenetek opto-cell attenuator T4′-style module
Socketed to enable retrofitting with other opto-cells.
Fully discrete signal path
Comes with premium Tung-Sol and Electro-Harmonix tubes (two 12AX7, one 12BH7, one 6AQ5 or 6P1J).
Variable preemphasis
Allows for compression high-pass filtering (tone control).
Stereo-link capable
Connect two WA-2A units together, using a stereo-link input jack with one shielded TRS 1/4″ patch cable.
Inputs/outputs
Offers XLR and TRS balanced line level inputs/outputs with 600 ohms impedance.
