Yokohama A048 tires are meant for the track. When used on circuit-style, recreational courses you will find the performance and traction exceptional at high speeds. With longer-lasting, even wear, the A048 give you lots of time on the roads and tracks. They are considered factory standard (OEM) for the Lotus Elise and Exige. With a single-block tread design, this tire delivers. That is because having a single, continuous tread block pattern helps to heighten the stiffness and cornering ability of the tire. It also assists the driver with balance and responsive steering. The casing shape, specially designed by Yokohama, gives the driver quick and easy transitions along with cornering grip where it is needed. Dry grip is superb.
